Emeraude toubia is an Canadian Actress who is best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te is enamoured. Her other talents include being a successful model and dancer. She was born in Montreal She was raised in Texas. She has always had a passion for performance. When she was a young girl she started to train in diverse forms of dance. In her 15th year, she started participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a household name in 2008 when she appeared in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season, a Univision beauty contest show. Toubia made her acting debut in 2010, portraying a receptionist in the Telemundo telenovela Aurora. Toubia was in the 2015 action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film.
